How do you perceive (see) yourself as a student...

   As a student, I was proud because I have more space and time to gain more knowledge. So, I don't want to waste my time doings things that are useless. As a student, I have a lot of responsibility to bear. My dream is to be an excellent students. I want to make my parents proud of having a daughter like me. I want to make them happy with my success. So, I talk to myself when I first stepped in this university that I want to study in earnest until I achieve my dreams. I will study hard and will not be indifferent to education. This is because education is very important to us for us to gain useful knowledge and also gain a bright future. I don't want to makes mistakes as last year with constantly poor concentration in class,always differ homework and always have nonchalant attitude, ignoring the importance of education. Therefore, I had a rather disappointing result in SPM examination. Because of that, I want to change myself to be the best among the best. I will prove to everyone that I can do it. I want to be a successful accountant one day. I hope my dream will come true.

MUET practise in the classroom,,

MUET for speaking assessment was started from 10 October until 28 October. Before that day, in our English class we have learn how we would perform for MUET. Madam Umi was explaining to us everything about that. After the explanation, Madam Umi  wants us to make the practise so we will understand and also get a true picture of how real MUET for speaking conducted. At the first, she asked those who four volunteer for doing that practise but nobody want. Finally, she mentioned our class representative's name which is Pija to be one of the four candidates. After that, Pija was asked to choose a number from a list of the student in the class. Then, the number that Pija choose was the Munir and Munir also have to choose a one number that was Hilda and lastly, the person have been chosen was Sharmira. They were given two task which was task A and task B. All the person in the class were focused at them when they had started their tasks. From their discussion, I saw that Hilda has so many opinions and also the idea to put forward. After they finished both of their task, Madam Umi was commented about their performance. I saw her quite a bit disappointed and she hoped that we were all prepared in advance for speaking assessment in MUET. She also wish for us good luck. :)

Speaking Corner...

MY IDOL

  On 17th November, my turn to make a speaking corner in front of  the class. Initially, I was a bit nervous waiting for my turn. Eventually, after I saw and I heard my friends present their speaking corner, my confidence started to grow. I speak to myself that I can do it. While I was considering what I would say later, suddenly our lecturer, Madam Umi was called my name and I was a bit surprised. Then, I got up from my seat and went to the front of the classroom beside Madam Umi. Before that day, I was thinking who I want to talk about because our topic for speaking corner was My Idol. After I think for a few minutes, my minds suddenly  was focused on the someone who is eligible to become my idol. So on that day, I was presented my speaking corner on talks about Dato' Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor as my idol. After I mentioned him as my idol, my classmates were cheering on me. I don't know why but I think maybe they were jealous because I take him as my idol.:) I then continued my speaking and when I was talking about the education he takes for his degree that was at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India. I was make mistakes in pronunciations for the word Manipal and then my friends laughed at me. They think I was funny when I wrongly said that. Anyway, I was really weak for speaking in English. Moreover, I would work harder to speak in English fluently. I would learn more to improve my language and pronunciations. Sometimes my friend would corrected for me if my pronunciations was wrong and I was thanked to them. From that, I would learn little by little. Finally, my speaking was ended with why I take Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor as my idol. This is because he inspired me to success in my life. He was work hard for 18 month training program in Russia and finally he was chosen as the prime crew member. He has made Malaysians become proud of him because he is the first Malaysian astronaut. I'm also the one who is very proud to him. After I finished my speaking my friends clapped. I was very glad because I was finished my speaking corner well.

My first day in English class....

My English class for second trimester is on every Thursday at 9am until 12pm. My lecturer's name is Madam Umi Kalsom. On the first class, we don't have any lesson because we do not have the book yet. So, on that day Madam Umi has told us to write the name on a paper for anyone who wants to buy the English writing book. The book price is RM 30 only. After that, Madam Umi has asked us who volunteer to be a representative of the class. But everyone is not willing to be. Suddenly, one of us has mentioned the name of Pija because she very excited if we have to choose our class representative..:) Madam Umi has asked who is Pija and all of us have pointing our fingers to her and we unanimously to choose her as our class representative. Madam Umi also agree with us and she has asked  Pija's phone number. So, Madam Umi can easily inform to her anything about an English class. On that day, Madam Umi has explained to us about the English subject which we will learn at this trimester. Madam Umi  has ended the class early and all of us smiling cheerfully because we all were hungry. After the expiry of the class, we went straight to a cafe to eat..:)
